(1) The registration books of ships will be of two types as follows:-
(a) register book of merchant vessels, and
(b) Register book of the boat.
(2) Commercial vessels with a carrying capacity of 10 gross register tons or more shall be registered in the register of commercial vessels, regardless of the purpose for which they are employed (planned service) or carried on any waterway of less than 10 gross register tons. Capacity vessels (vessel) will be registered in the registration book of the vessel.
(3) The format of the registration books shall be as prescribed.
